How the estimate works

Uses a build-time import of the full FY2026 GSA per diem workbook.
Matches only exact GSA destination + state names from the imported list.
Uses the selected travel month to choose the correct lodging season.
Applies 75% of the M&IE rate on the first and last travel day.
Standard CONUS is only used when the user selects it manually.
